Employment and Labor Relations Court has today stopped IEBC again from employing a new CEO to replace Ezra Chiloba

For a second time in seven months,IEBC has found itself on the wrong side after  Employment and Labor Relations Court  today  stopped the recruitment of the next CEO of the Commission

The  Court has allowed a petition by Cha Mawakili  to stop  the recruitment claiming that process is not transparent and competitive as dictated by IEBC's human resource recruitment policy  .

10 candidates  had been shortlisted for the position .

Shortlisted candidates included Dr Mabonga Joel Lusweti, Mr Nakitari Okuku Humphrey, Mr Aura Zephania Okeyo, Ms Kariuki Nancy Wanjiku, and Mr Kioko Paul Christopher Kimali.
