Kirinyaga County Assembly speaker David Githanda has resigned citing personal issues.
Githanda wrote a resignation letter to Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguri saying that he has decided to relinquish his position as the county speaker.
His resignation takes effects as from August 15, 2019.
