Speaking at Mlolongo town as he inspected ongoing roadworks, The Governor asked the public to demand more from their leaders and reject leaders keen on selfish and personal gains instead of focusing on delivering development to the people.
He also urged wananchi against continually voting in thieves into elective posts as they continue to drag the country down instead of up.
The Governor also called on President Uhuru to review the current costings of road construction and to set limits of the same. He continued to say that currently, roads are being built at exhorbitant costs, at the taxpayers expense and all money pocketed by only few contractors.
